Bonnets were generally made of scraps or from the skirt of an old dress. Remember the adage "Use it up. Wear it out. Make it do or do without." Bonnets were worn to protect the skin from sun and wind. They were not a fashion statement.
These items must be ordered as the Skirt & Bonnet Combo to receive the special pricing. Bonnets are only available in the adult size but the ties pull in so that most children can wear them. We can deliver on this item quickly as we have stock on hand of skirts and unmatched bonnets. Please note that you can pick your skirt color but the bonnets are a random color of what we have in stock. If you want your bonnet to coordinate to your skirt, they must be ordered separately.
